Gowling WLG Alumni is a corporate alumni community, giving you access to more of the people and ideas shaping the industry, so that you can easily stay connected. It’s designed to help members of our alumni community cultivate closer, more personal connections through a robust selection of in-person and online networking events, and a range of valuable career, learning and business opportunities.

Q. Who is eligible to join Gowling WLG Alumni?

The program is open to all past and current members of Gowling WLG (Canada) LLP, and its legacy firms, including legal professionals and business services team members.

This program will launch first only in Canada with a view to expand globally in the future. 

Q. How do I register and join the Gowling WLG Alumni Network?

You can register and join by visiting https://alumni.gowlingwlg.com and clicking on 'join today'.
 
 

Q. How long does it take to be approved?

The majority of alumni will be automatically approved when connecting through LinkedIn if your profile shows that you worked for Gowling WLG or a previously owned Gowling WLG company.

Some alumni may need to be manually approved to join, which might take a little longer.
 

Q. When I connect my account with LinkedIn, will you ever post content on my behalf?

When joining Gowling WLG Alumni, we will suggest you share the news via LinkedIn. We will only ever do this with your permission.
 

Q. How will I know if I have been approved?

You will receive a "welcome" email.

This alumni platform uses an auto-translate tool. This tool is intuitive so we can provide ongoing feedback to improve the quality of the French translations. If you would like to report a translation error or inaccuracy or suggest a more appropriate contextual understanding, please contact us.
